Well, I decided to join the blogging world.
me and my border terrier zeddicus worked out together tonight. He walks on the treadmil while I do my situps and push ups and then he lays on the floor next to the treadmil chewing on a bone while I run/walk on the treadmil. My female border terrier just lays there and watches us and hopes to scarf up any treats that zedd might drop while he's working out.
I proceeded to to work on my pet parade project. A goup of us at work are entering our dogs in this pet parade Sat Oct 18. We are doing a dental theme. Bunzella is going to be a box of floss. She's going to look cute and as long as I have food she will walk in any costume. Zedd is staying home!!!!!!
I did do some training with Zedd tonight. I've started teaching him a "look at that game" I want him to be able to look at other dogs and look back at me and not freak out. Zedd has some self control issues and he also has some issues with dogs he does not know. I've been reading the book "control unleashed" by Leslie McDevitt. Wonderful book!! I've been following many of the exersises in the book. I would also like to teach him some crate games, I think that will also help. I have taught him some create games, but I'd like to move to the next level.
poor bunzella, when I work Zedd she gets created and protests the whole time. She is semi retired from preformace events. I still run and train her sometimes especially when she looks depressed because I'm spending with her.
