My goals this weekend were; start line routine, cheer lead, and front crosses.
Well, the start lines were better. I hip started Zedd and quietly said, "ready". I did not do a regimented start and boy did that seem to work! I cheer leaded and Whoohooed and Zedd loved it. He was happier and it helped increase his speed. I loved doing it! Surprise, surprise, surprise!! Whoo Hoo, sorry couldn't help myself.
My front crosses were ok. My placements of my front crosses were better, but I need to keep moving when I'm rotating out of them. He just seemed so wide turning that I felt like I needed to wait so he didn't cut behind me. He was slipping A LOT so I believe that was why he was turning like a tank.
Saturday with double Q'd!!!!!!!!! Happy, happy, joy, joy!!! Sunday we did not Q, but I think he was slipping a lot more on Sunday then Saturday.
I was proud of the both of us. My goals were reached and the outcome was great.
The next time I go to Westminster I plan on shaving the hair between his pads and I will take a spry bottle and wet his feet before going into the ring.
